Jamb registration 2026 : The Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB) , has commenced the registration for 2025/2026 UTME exam. The registration starts today 26th January 2026 , while the 2026 Jamb UTME registration Deadline is 28 February 2026.

JAMB has commenced registration for candidates, including those from foreign countries, interested in the 2026 UTME.
The Registration can only be done at accredited and approved JAMB CBT registration centres.
Before you proceed for registration, ensure you have purchased the JAMB ePIN, as this is mandatory for all candidates.
If you already have your ePIN, download and completely fill the JAMB Registration Template before visiting any accredited CBT registration centre.
The registration exercise closes on Saturday, 28th February, 2026.

The official novel for the 2026 JAMB UTME is " The Lekki Headmaster " by Kabir Alabi Garba.
All JAMB UTME candidates will receive a free copy of the novel after completing their registration at an accredited CBT centre and are advised to request it if it is not given to you.

The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, advised candidates who have issues with biodata, including discrepancies in names or dates of birth, to resolve such matters with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) before proceeding with UTME registration.
the registrar also stressed that the Board would rely solely on data generated from NIMC and would not entertain corrections from any other source.
According to him, registration for UTME candidates, including those from foreign countries, will run from Monday, January 26, 2026, to Saturday, February 28, 2026.
He stressed that e-PIN vending for the UTME had already began since Monday, January 19, 2026, and will end on Thursday, February 26, 2026, while the registration exercise will officially close on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
For Direct Entry (DE) candidates, Prof. Oloyede said the sale of 2026 DE application documents and e-PIN vending starts on Monday, March 2, 2026, and end on Saturday, April 25, 2026, noting that DE forms would be sold only at JAMB zonal and state offices nationwide.
Also,three categories of e-PINs would be available for the 2026 exercise. These include Direct Entry at N5,700; UTME only without Mock at N7,200; and UTME with Mock at N8,700.
The charges stated above covers the JAMB application fee of N3,500, reading text of N1,000, CBT centre registration service charge of N700, CBT UTME service charge of N1,500, bank charges of N500, and an additional N1,500 for the optional Mock-UTME.
Speaking On examination dates, Prof.Ishaq Oloyede announced that the 2026 UTME would hold from Thursday, April 16, to Saturday, April 25, 2026, while the optional Mock-UTME is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Meanwhile, the JAMB Registrar issued a strong warning to JAMB CBT centre operators to desist from engaging in fraudulent practices, such includes extortion and selling services above approved rates, cautioning that any centre found culpable would have its license revoked and be prosecuted.
He went further to advise JAMB CBT centre proprietors to avoid engaging staff of questionable character, noting that ignorance would not be accepted as an excuse for any infraction.
According to Prof.Ishaq, centre owners would be held fully responsible for the actions of their ad-hoc staff during the 2026 UTME exercise.
IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE OF PAST ADMISSION STATUS
All prospective Candidates are henceforth required to disclose their admission (matriculation) status by indicating their previous registration details with the year of UTME/DE at the point of registration.
Any false or non-declaration of previous registration/matriculation will automatically render the candidate's registration/previous admission invalid.
If a candidate have been previously admitted (matriculated) and wishing to change or start afresh in another institution or programme ,it is allowed, however, failure to disclose such this prior to admission is an offense.
COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION
If you have completely and correctly filled your JAMB registration template, there will be no issues during your registration.
Before filling your course and your 2026 UTME subject combination on the template, ensure you have carefully gone through the JAMB brochure.
To complete your registration,first, you need to verify on the system that all information on your registration template have been correctly entered into the registration portal before printing your 2026 registration confirmation slip.
You can only Print the Registration Confirmation SIip USING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION to confirm valid fingerprint (UTME/DE).
Also, note that authentication with your fingerprint removes blames of error from CBT centres.
Candidates are to check before confirming with their fingerprint.
