SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW : 

The University of Waterloo is offering scholarships to international students who wish to study in Canada. 

The scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate students, enabling them to concentrate on their academic and research pursuits. With a strong focus on innovation and excellence, the University of Waterloo attracts high-caliber talent from around the world. 

The list of scholarships available at the university includes:

International Student Entrance Scholarship

Programs: All programs

Number and Value: 20 scholarships valued at $10,000 each

Faculty of Engineering International Student Entrance Scholarships

Programs: All Engineering programs except Architecture

Number and Value: Up to 20 scholarships valued at $10,000 each

Faculty of Mathematics Global Scholarships

Programs: Most programs in the Faculty of Mathematics

Number and Value: Up to 10 scholarships valued at $12,000 to $40,000

Scholarships for Black Students

Eligibility: For students of African, African American, Afro-Latine, Black Canadian, Caribbean, or other African descent

Scholarship Value: $1,200 to $40,000

ELIGIBILITY & CRITERIA :

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet up the following conditions ;

1. Applicants must have a strong academic record and high grades.

2. Applicants must Meet the specific grade or GPA requirements for each scholarship.

3. You Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time program at the University of Waterloo.

4. Applicants must have a valid Canadian study permit and be registered full-time, paying international tuition fees.

5.Candidates are to note that the scholarship is normally given to students entering the first term of their program.

6. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence as per criteria set by their Faculty.

7. Applicants Must meet academic progress requirements and have no outstanding probationary admission requirements.

8.Applicants are to ensure that they are not receiving any other foreign government or agency sponsorship concurrently or be self-funded above Faculty support levels.

9.Automatically considered for awards based on the application for admission; Faculties and departments select recipients based on eligibility criteria.

All applicants are required to submit the following documents;

1.Application Form (if needed)

2.A Proof of Enrollment (full-time at the University of Waterloo)

3.All Academic Transcripts (official, showing GPA)

4.A Statement of Purpose or Personal Statement

5.Letters of Recommendation (typically two)

6.Valid CV or Resume

7.A Proof of Identity (passport or ID)
