This is to inform the general public that Shell (SPDC) 2016/2017 undergraduate scholarship is ON.

 You can now apply for it.

The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (Operator of the NNPC/SHELL/TEPN/AGIP Joint Venture Scholarship Scheme
OFFERS SECOND YEAR STUDENTS in all Nigerian Universities the opportunity to study with a yearly award from the SPDC JV for the full duration of their course.


AREAS OF APPLICATION

National Merit Award (NM) is open to all Nigerians
Areas of Operation Merit Award (OM) is for Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational areas in Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and River States.



CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION

The applicant must
Be a citizen of Nigeria
Be a Registered FULL TIME and a
SECOND YEAR STUDENT (200 LEVEL) in any recognized University in Nigeria.

Application CGPA is 2.50 and above for 5-point scale, or equivalent less than 2.50 is not eligible (result must be attached)

Have a valid and active email (Note: the email will be referred back to in the course of this award)

Have a recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant ( jpeg format, less than 200 kilobytes)

University or JAMB Admission Letter;

JAMB Score (Original JAMB result
‘O’ Level Result(s); and ‘A’ Level /OND /NCE Result(s) as applicable

Local government identification letter (LGA ID)

NOTE : candidates applying for the Operational Area Awards must scan and upload a copies of letters of identification, (which must be duly stamped and signed) by:


1. a) The Paramount Ruler of the Community; AND

2. b) The chairman of the Community (Developement or Executive) Council (CDC or CEC).

The letters should be addressed to The Manager, Social Investment, Shell Petroleum Developement Company, Prodeco 5, Room 10, Shell Industial Area, Rumubiakani, Port Harcourt.
